“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ESV)
Last Friday I prayed with a homeless man, Jimmy who had a court case last Monday. Miraculously the Lord had given me another opportunity to pray for him since the first one it wasn’t possible. From my previous post last Thursday:
“On my way home from the market, I was riding up the alley back home. I met Jimmy who was a homeless man who I’d had met weeks ago. He went on a trip to Oregon and I wanted to pray with him for a very important court case he had coming up on April 18th! I didn’t get the opportunity but the Lord gave me another chance! With Jesus there are no coincidences! I stopped and chatted with him and again he told me about the court case coming up the next morning. I asked him if I could pray for him for favor with the judge and that he would be set free of any charges.” https://cycling4jesus.wordpress.com/2014/04/17/ask-and-it-will-be-given/
Thank you, Jesus. When I saw him he was excited to tell me the news and was wearing a tee-shirt that praised Jesus! As it turns out, all charges had been dropped and he was to meet in court this coming Monday, Apr 21st to finalize his affairs! Please pray that Jesus will continue to give him favor and that the Lord will turn it around for him!
